How to Use opn.my

Create short links and track them in a few clicks.

1. Shorten a link

On the home page, paste your long URL into the URL field and press Shorten URL. Optionally you can:

Custom alias — choose your own short code (e.g. opn.my/summer-sale).
Expiration date — pick when the link should stop working. Links last up to 90 days.

2. Share your short link

Copy the generated short link and share it anywhere. Logged-in users can also download a QR code for the link — perfect for print, posters, and offline campaigns.

3. Track click analytics

Every short link has an analytics page at opn.my/a/<code>. There you can see:

Human vs. bot clicks and total click trends over time
Clicks by hour, device distribution, and top referrers
A full click history to understand where your traffic comes from

Anonymous visitors see a limited preview (human clicks and creation date). Log in to unlock the full analytics dashboard.

Free vs. account

Without an account: up to 3 active links and a limited analytics preview.
With a free account: up to 10 active links, QR downloads, and full analytics.

Links you make before signing up are added to your account when you log in. The caps are on active links, so you can always delete one to make room for another.

Creating an account takes seconds — just an email and password.

Safety & retention

To keep opn.my safe, we automatically block links to malware, phishing, private/local addresses, and other URL shorteners. Links and their analytics are stored for a maximum of 90 days and then automatically deleted.
